Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Modern Mailbox Co., every mailbox is custom-built to order. Because each product is made specifically for the customer, we have the following cancellation, return, and refund policy.
Order Cancellations
Customers may cancel their order within 3 calendar days of placing it for a full refund.
After the 3-day cancellation period has passed, production is considered complete or substantially underway, and orders cannot be canceled or refunded.
Returns & Store Credit
If you are not satisfied with your mailbox upon delivery, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
Because all products are custom-made, we do not offer cash refunds for returned items. Approved returns will receive store credit equal to the purchase price of the product, excluding any shipping, delivery, installation, or other service charges.
Return Conditions
To qualify for store credit:
- The mailbox must be returned in its original condition.
- The mailbox must not have been installed, modified, damaged, or altered.
- All original components and accessories must be included.
- Return authorization must be obtained before shipping the item back.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as customers are responsible for the product until it is received by Modern Mailbox Co.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the damage.
We will review the claim and, if approved, repair, replace, or provide an appropriate resolution at no additional cost.
Custom Design Changes
Any design changes requested after an order has been placed may result in additional charges and may affect production timelines.
